My dog Milo - Amazing-Portraits.com Review

I have a confession to make, and it is not a pretty one. Here it is – I never, from the bottom of my heart – understood people who have pets. I don’t want to say that I hated pets in general, or that I hated cats or dogs I just never understood why you would get one, why you would want to spend money and time on a pet, why would you want to go trough cleaning pee and hair off your floor, through not being able to go on a holiday because of the fear of leaving your pet alone and all of that.

I tried to understand that I really did, but at one point I just stopped talking about this with any friend or family member who owned a pet and I just nodded and smiled in silence when they showed me a million photos of their pet.

And then, one day, my husband proposed that we get a dog. I was not hesitant one bit – I simply said no. But then, only God knows how, he convinced me. We went to the local shelter, and there he was looking at me, my own little brown bundle of joy – Milo.  I could not have possibly for a second in my wildest dreams imagined the love I would feel for this creature. I work from home, so I was 24/7 glued to him! During the day he sleeps in my office while I work, walks after me from room to room, watches me prepare dinner and sleep on a small rug in my bedroom at night and I couldn’t have it any other way.

I can’t believe the countless hours I spent shopping for him – buying different food for him to try, different treats (bone shaped dog birthday cake anyone), all the squeaky annoying toys, all the chews, all the bones and all the supplements. What did I buy myself you ask as if this was not enough – well as a crazy dog mom I simply bough everything I can get my hands on every custom dog product – mugs, t shirts, sweatshirt, pens, phone cases, you name it I bought it, but never seemed personal enough and never worthy enough of Milo.

And then a friend mentioned a custom painting website, saying he got a painting of his baby daughter as a Christmas gift for his in-laws. I admit I had never heard of a custom painting before (isn’t this what billionaires purchase to hang above the fireplace, a painting of their families for tens of thousands of dollars)? I love Milo more than anything but that’s a tad out of my price range! But then he told me it costs just a bit over $100. For a handmade custom oil painting! Are you kidding me?? I couldn’t click fast enough – the company is called Amazing Portraits – amazing-portraits.com and I could not recommend them enough. I couldn’t find enough Amazing Portraits Reviews online so I thought I would share my experience. The ordering process is super simple and straight forward – you upload your photo, you select size, style and framing option, you pay just 15% deposit and – that’s it. I already had a perfect photo in mind but the guys at Amazing Portraits explained me that I can select a different background if I want to or merge 2 photos and they could create one painting out of 2 photos. How amazing is that, and for this price I couldn’t be happier and I could not leave them a better Amazing-Portraits.com review even if I wanted.
